Daniel Kurdys
VP, Global Business Lead, GENAI
Dan Kurdys is the Vice President and Global Business Lead for GENAI at Bayer Crop Science. His mission is clear – to transform emerging technologies into solutions that truly benefit farmers. With nearly 2 decades of hands-on experience in agricultural technology, Dan has witnessed significant industry shifts, from Precision Planting out-licensing to the acquisitions of Climate Corporation and 640 Labs. His diverse expertise spans social media marketing, blockchain projects, self-limiting insects, biologics, traits, crop protection, and seed treatment launches.
Always one to embrace a challenge, Dan founded and leads an internal startup at Bayer focused on making applied agronomy expertise more accessible through Generative AI.
When he’s not busy revolutionizing agriculture, Dan is a devoted father to four amazing daughters who keep him on his toes and fueled by caffeine. His collection of dad jokes, while often questionable, is always at the ready to lighten the mood.
Additionally, Dan serves on the board of directors for AgSafe, a nonprofit committed to promoting farm safety through a boots-on-the-ground approach.
