Tara Roth
CVP, Customer Success Engineering (CSE)
Tara Roth is a Corporate Vice President in the Experiences and Devices (E+D) Organization. She leads the Customer Success Engineering team, ensuring customers globally can adopt, scale, and succeed with Microsoft 365.
The team has four major components with a key measure of success being grounded in customer satisfaction. These include release and delivery, self-help and support content, global services and the support and admin experience.
In addition to leading the Customer Success Engineering Team, Tara is the executive sponsor for Microsoft Ireland. Microsoft Ireland is home to over 2,200 employees working in local, regional, and global functions across International Operations, Digital Sales, Engineering, Data Center, and the Irish sales and marketing subsidiary.
Tara is also the executive sponsor for several initiatives across E+D. This includes leading the E+D Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) initiatives and M365 Small and Medium Business (SMB) priorities. She also leads the team in E+D which is responsible for the Office anti-trust compliance obligations.
Tara Roth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. She joined Microsoft in 1992 as a software test engineer for the Microsoft Project team. After six years, she moved to Microsoft FrontPage and then led the SharePoint Services testing team. Roth joined the Office Shared team in 2006. In 2016, Tara started a new engineering team called Customer Success Engineering and her responsibility has expanded as E+D was formed, and the suite of experiences now called Microsoft 365 was established as an offering to our customers.
Outside of work, Tara enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, and spending time with her husband and two children.

Angela Byers
Senior Director Product Marketing
Angela Byers is a seasoned marketing executive at Microsoft. She has ignited growth in mature category leaders like Microsoft Project (now Planner), Visio, and OneDrive. She has created a new category - employee experience platform - and launched a new product called Microsoft Viva, which has become a recognized brand in the industry. She has also transformed products with generative AI, launching the first role-based copilot at Microsoft: Sales Copilot. Now she is responsible for Microsoft 365 Copilot results in the small and medium business segment, in addition to growth strategy in SMBs.
Angela also has deep passion for culture – from coaching & leadership to performance transformation. From her research career (Stanford University, McKinsey Global Institute) to now, she continues to be excited to study how technology helps drive broad scale change & economic impact.
