Kathleen Mitford is Corporate Vice President of Global Industry at Microsoft. She joined the company in 2021 and leads a team responsible for providing industry solutions to customers to help them solve challenges and unlock opportunities specific to their industry through the Microsoft Cloud and Microsoft’s partner ecosystem. Kathleen is an expert in the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence and her purview extends across a diverse spectrum of industries. Prior to Microsoft, Kathleen was EVP and Chief Strategy Officer at PTC and was also the executive sponsor of the Microsoft partnership. Kathleen is passionate about diversity and inclusion—particularly when it comes to women in tech. She has received several awards for her leadership and innovation including a Stevie Award and a Mass Technology Leadership Council Award. She lives in Seattle with her husband and two kids.
