Satya Nadella is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft. Before being named CEO in February 2014, Nadella held leadership roles in both enterprise and consumer businesses across the company.
Joining Microsoft in 1992, he quickly became known as a leader who could span a breadth of technologies and businesses to transform some of Microsoft’s biggest product offerings.
Most recently, Nadella was executive vice president of Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise group. In this role he led the transformation to the cloud infrastructure and services business, which outperformed the market and took share from competition. Previously, Nadella led R&D for the Online Services Division and was vice president of the Microsoft Business Division. Before joining Microsoft, Nadella was a member of the technology staff at Sun Microsystems.
Originally from Hyderabad, India, Nadella lives in Bellevue, Washington, with his family. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Mangalore University, a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. Nadella serves on the board of trustees to his alma mater the University of Chicago.

Charlie Bell is Executive Vice President of Microsoft Security. He leads a team of engineers focused on advancing cybersecurity technologies designed to protect the digital systems integral to empowering every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
Bell has more than 40 years of experience developing the foundation of the technology we use every day. He began his career developing software for space shuttles before going on to manage transactional systems at Oracle. In 1996, he founded Server Technologies Group to build e-commerce transaction software. Prior to joining Microsoft, Bell served as senior vice president of Amazon Web Services, where he unified the company’s database, networking, and systems engineering teams to create a decentralized engineering system.
Bell has a bachelor’s degree in business/management information systems from California State University, Fullerton. His leadership is defined by continuous learning, he is deeply curious about quantum mechanics, artificial intelligence, and human evolution, his favorite use of free time is camping anywhere in the vast Pacific Northwest wilderness.

Scott Guthrie
EVP, Cloud+AI
As executive vice president of the Microsoft Cloud + AI Group, Scott Guthrie is responsible for Microsoft’s cloud computing fabric, artificial intelligence platform, and the company’s industry cloud solutions. This spans products and services such as Microsoft Azure, the global cloud computing platform; Azure AI, a portfolio of services for developers and data scientists backed by Microsoft's responsible AI principles; the Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform, a comprehensive offering for databases, analytics, and data governance; and Microsoft Business Applications, including the automated business process capabilities of Dynamics 365 and low-code/no-code tools in the Power Platform. It also includes a rich set of developer tools with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and GitHub; AI solutions for healthcare, customer engagement, and productivity from Nuance; core commerce capabilities and infrastructure; and compliance solutions across the Microsoft Cloud.
Previously, Guthrie was corporate vice president of the Microsoft Azure team. Since joining the company in 1997, he has made critical contributions to many of Microsoft’s essential cloud, server and development technologies, and was one of the founders of the .NET project.

Rajesh Jha
EVP Experiences + Devices
As Executive Vice President of Microsoft’s Experiences + Devices (E+D) division, Rajesh is a key leader on Microsoft’s Senior Leadership Team and works directly for Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s Chairman and CEO. Rajesh leads teams developing Microsoft’s flagship services and devices spanning Microsoft 365, Windows and Windows 365, Surface, Teams, Office, mixed reality, and emerging technologies like Microsoft Loop, Clipchamp and Designer. In addition, Rajesh has led the efforts to bring market leading generative AI to customers with Microsoft 365 Copilot, seeing early success with nearly 60% of the Fortune 500 now using Copilot.
