Michal is one of the founders of Microsoft's Cloud+AI Security division. She initiated flagship Microsoft Security products such as Sentinel and Defender for Cloud and drove strategic Cyber acquisitions.
As the CTO of the Security division, Michal is focused on identifying disruptive growth opportunities for Microsoft’s security division, shaping the Security for AI strategy and boosting innovation across the division. Under her leadership, Microsoft’s Israel R&D Center has become a major force in cybersecurity and AI, growing by more than 75%.
Michal has more than 20 years of experience in security, both in startups and corporate settings.
She was recently named by Forbes as one of the most Influential Women Leaders in Israel for the 5th consecutive year.
Michal holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Columbia University, majoring in Artificial Intelligence, and serves on the Advisory Board of Columbia University’s School of Engineering.

Joy Chik
President, Identity & Network Access
Joy Chik leads Microsoft’s multi-billion-dollar Identity and Network Access security business. Her organization builds solutions to secure access to everything for everyone, which includes Identity Access Management Solutions (Microsoft Entra, formerly Azure AD), Microsoft Consumer Experience (Microsoft Account), and end user Network Access Services for the Microsoft Cloud. These services provide over 100B authentications every day around the world. Joy’s team is pioneering the digital Trust Fabric to secure access for every customer, partner, and employee—and for every microservice, sensor, network, device, and database. This includes championing digital verification technologies, known as Entra Verified ID, that protect individual privacy while securing information for businesses and consumers. Joy graduated summa cum laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In 1998 she joined Microsoft as a software engineer and has held multiple engineering and leadership roles across Microsoft. Joy is active in charities and has deep passion for supporting and helping women and girls pursuing technology careers.

Vasu Jakkal
CVP Security Business
Vasu Jakkal is a passionate champion of building a better, safer, and more resilient world for all. She brings nearly 20 years of technology industry experience to Microsoft, where she is responsible for Microsoft’s Security business which includes Security, Compliance, Identity, Management and Privacy including crafting the strategy, partnering to shape product roadmaps and defining the go-to-market motions that help customers simplify and fortify their security posture. Jakkal is a dedicated advocate for diversity, and for expanding the opportunities for women in all fields of technology.

Ann Johnson
Microsoft Corporate Vice President and Deputy CISO
Ann Johnson is Corporate Vice President and Deputy CISO at Microsoft. In this role, Ann drives all external engagement for the Microsoft Office of the CISO, and leads security risk management, standards, and governance for the company’s Sales and Partner organization. She is a long tenured, recognized thought leader on cybersecurity and a sought-after global speaker and digital author specializing in cyber resilience, online fraud, cyberattacks, compliance, and security.
Ann challenges traditional schools of thought and cyber-norms–from the way the tech industry tackles cyber threats to the language it uses to communicate–and encourages the industry to get outside its comfort zones and expand how it addresses the evolving threat landscape with the power of technology and people. As a global cybersecurity leader and strategist, she is looking ahead at how today’s cybersecurity investments will impact tomorrow’s cybersecurity reality.
Ann currently serves on the Board of Directors of Seattle Humane, N-Able, Human Security, Datavant, and is Member of the Board of Advisors for Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, WA and the Signal Cyber Museum Society. Ann is also the Executive Sponsor of the Microsoft Women in Security Group.

Dorothy Li
CVP, Microsoft Security Copilot
As the CVP of the SCEM team, Dorothy leads product development for Microsoft Security Copilot, the industry’s first gen-AI security solution that empowers defenders to move at the speed of AI. She is also responsible for Microsoft Security's commercial platform growth, building a thriving ecosystem of intelligent security applications and services that drive business growth for partners, and help our customers become safer. Prior to joining Microsoft, Dorothy was the Chief Technology Officer of Convoy, the nation’s leading digital freight network where she oversaw the Product and Engineering group and technology strategy, shaping and scaling the company’s innovation and technology platforms. Before Convoy, Dorothy spent over 20 years at Amazon, most recently as Vice President of BI and Analytics at AWS. Joining Amazon in 1998, Dorothy helped build out Amazon’s ecommerce platform, as well playing a lead role in launching industry-defining products such as Amazon Prime and Kindle.

Sherrod DeGrippo
Director Threat Intelligence Strategy
Sherrod DeGrippo is Director of Threat Intelligence Strategy at Microsoft. She was selected as Cybersecurity woman of the year in 2022 and Cybersecurity PR Spokesperson of the year for 2021. Her focus has long been on securing communications, from corporate networks to personal chats. Her career in cybersecurity and threat intelligence spans over 20 years.
